CLP Advantages

More Waterproofing

The roll within a CLP Roofing System bonds all system components together as one. This saturated makeup offers waterproof protection throughout the system and above the scrim; not just a thin layer on the top and bottom of the reinforcement scrim like laminated single ply roofing membranes provide.

Added Redundancy

Multiple, redundant layers, combined with a technologically advanced roll, provide added strength and reliability. An optional field-applied finish coat conforms to the unique contours of the existing surface being re-roofed.
Greater Strength. The tensile strength of CLP Roofing Systems is significantly greater than common single-ply roof systems. When there are extreme temperature changes, it won’t crack under the stress of thermal shock like some single-ply membranes can. They also have greater puncture resistance and breaking strength, meaning they’re more resistant to punctures from falling objects and cracking from normal foot traffic and/or weather elements.

Better Weathering

CLP Roofing Systems have substantially more waterproofing within and above the reinforcement sheet for better weathering and slower aging. The cross-linked polymer in CLP’s formulation is superior in UV resistance. The compound is also fortified with inert and organic chemicals that enhance reflectivity and emissivity to further improve weathering.

Less Erosion

The greater the mass/weight of a roofing system, the slower the effects of erosion. When compared to most single-ply systems, CLP Roof Systems weigh more and erode less.

Stronger Warranty

CLP Roofing Systems come with a manufacturers labor, workmanship, and materials warranty that is one of the strongest warranties of its kind. Plus, Simon Roofing is the manufacturer and installer, so warranty calls come with no finger-pointing and response times within 24 hours.

More Sustainable

The useful life of CLP Roofing Systems can be easily and economically extended at least 20 years after their warranty period. These systems are fully compatible for future restorations, which reduces commercial roof tear-offs and the use of landfills, as well as lowers their life cycle cost.
