You spot a roof leak; now what? The first step is to mitigate any risk like slip hazards so set up appropriate “wet floor” signage or barricades, remove any equipment or goods in the surrounding area, and place buckets or containers to collect the water.
The next step is to call Simon Roofing’s 24/7 Customer Service Center. Our in-house team will collect your information and dispatch a service technician. For emergency requests, technicians are dispatched to your facility within 24 hours. For standard requests, you can expect a technician arrival within three days.
The Customer Service team will set up your Customer Account Profile, identifying your preferences for billing, Not-To-Exceeds, points of contact, communication instructions and more. You can even sign up for our Text Ahead program to receive alerts from the technician when en route to your facility.
Once the Simon Roofing technician arrives at your facility, they will inspect the location to identify the true source of the leak. Water from the rooftop often travels so where the leak is located within the building might not be the same point of entry on top of the roof. The technician will identify the leak source and perform a 60-point inspection in the surrounding areas of the rooftop. This is all documented and provided to you following the visit. The technician will perform the repair(s) documenting with details and photos. In some instances, temporary repairs can be made to stop leaks and then return visits can be scheduled for longer-term solutions. Commercial roofing services aren't a one-size-fits-all, so repair solutions can be customized for your budget, your building, and your facility's goals.
