The need for objectivity in commercial roof inspections is what drove the SR PreVision program to be developed 15 years ago. Simon Roofing’s goal is always to repair or restore a roof before replacing it. We’ve seen far too many commercial roofs replaced before necessary – usually based on the opinion of a roofing contractor looking to sell a new roof system. This led to years of research and development on a way to perform roof inspections with more accuracy and objectivity.
Our team of scientists range from chemists to engineers, all employed by Simon, to not only perform these tests but also find innovative new ways to improve our processes and results. We’ve recently innovated the process with extremely detailed environmental reporting, additional equipment for new testing methods, and artificial intelligence modeling for the next phase of the process, roof asset management.
