Tips that we’ve learned over the years for helping people be safe on rooftops include being cautious and aware of any type of damage to the roofing decks. Some ways to spot damage are if you see any sagging or if you’re walking on a rooftop and you hear some sounds that a roof just should not make, such as any type of creaking or cracking that could give you an indication that the decking could fail, and someone could fall through.
